The surface is Quadcarbon technology, being made up of bi-directional cross weave carbon fibers which allows for a higher rate of spin and control on both sides of the racquet. The X5 core absorbs vibration with ease due to energy being transferred back into the core, allowing for a quieter sound and softer feel when hitting the ball, and makes contact less jarring to the body.
